ARE WE BEAUTY SICK?
💡 What if beauty culture was just another kind of sickness?
A sickness that teaches us to edit instead of exist. To shrink, smooth, erase. To measure our worth in likes, filters, and flawless skin.

"FOR KIDS GOING THROUGH DARK DAYS"
I wrote these three poems after reading hundreds of messages and comments from kids saying they were struggling with depression and so many of them agreed how hard/impossible it was to speak to their parents about it.
The hope is that possibly their words echoed back in poetic form may serve as a way to bridge that awkward space and get the support they are reaching out for.
